In another long and deranged social media posting that was in regards to Apple CEO Tim Cook (aka Tim Apple) stepping down later this year, the POTUS mentioned at one point, I was very impressed with myself to have the head of Apple calling to “kiss my ass.”
It’s even better when the “kiss my ass” part is read in his annoying voice (had to do it ⬇️).
To be fair, many other board chairs, rich/powerful individuals, and CEO’s have done the same thing (Altman, Chew, Nadella, Pichai, Zuckerberg, Bezos, former Walmart CEO McMillon, former Target CEO Cornell, etc, etc etc) though out of that list, Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has proven to be the most insufferable at his groveling and ass kissing.
Tim Cook did have a special plaque (glass with a 24K gold plated base) made by Apple’s American Manufacturing Program (still a one off waste of time and resources) that was gifted during a presentation at the Oval Office in 2025. It’s still a level of knee bending that doesn’t sit well with me (it is what it is unfortunately).
