Apple World Wide Developers Conference 2025

Apple kicked off its annual World Wide Developers Conference on June 9th in Cupertino (running until June 13th) with the majority of it being online (and free) again (following the same format as prior years ever since the pandemic) with the exception of an in-person special event that was held on Monday at Apple Park.

As with last years WWDC, I will just link MacRumor’s recap of the announcements (I’ll add a few remarks in a separate posting once some of this fatigue/pain issues I’ve been having subside; most of what I have to opine about is the release number re-branding for all operating systems and Liquid Glass). The following was the keynote presentation.

The Platforms State of the Union video went into a little more detail about the hardware/software ecosystem and integration (the usual overview given the developer focus) of what was announced in the above.
