The Threads account I decided to try and create is pretty much “ruined” in terms of what the algorithm keeps pulling into my feed now (I’ve been checking once a week). Just one simple engagement (simply reading a thread) has now turned into a constant inundation of fake engagement clickbait.
Simply put, I got off most social media years ago because of this, and it is simply reaffirming that it’s gotten worse and there is a reason why it makes no sense to reactivate/try to even curate a new account.
