Will unsurprisingly be powered by AT protocol. Since it is being billed as a non-Instagram clone (also seemingly more limited), I guess we will see. Basically, Pixelfed still sounds better but in similar fashion, not enough users being drawn to that decentralized photo sharing platform. It really requires a catalyst of something that users can latch on to move away from the established platforms or to at least stake out a new presence on these alternative decentralized platforms.
It is still nice there are alternative developments that can provide some level of feature parity (also important to have a decentralized means to get away from the ones that are now controlled by oligarchs and bootlickers like Zuckerberg).
