After thinking about it, I decided to merge my old and new blogs together. It turns out that many of those old Bit Stream posts (as I re-read many of them while fixing the formatting issues that were from the Blogger source) are very relevant. Additionally, it does make categorizing and referencing much easier.
The main issue is the links for the subdomain did not properly update (bitstream to blog) **sigh** (I’ll need to go and manually change all of that). Similarly (as with the migration from Blogger to WordPress), none of the images stored on blogspot.com migrated (will try a plugin maybe during the weekend). Even in 2025, relatively “simple” export/imports still has flaws like this.
UPDATE: fixed all the subdomains and placed bitstream.murasama.net into maintenance mode (won’t decommission the subdomain and installation until a few weeks from now).
UPDATE #2: the bitstream subdomain has been decommissioned.
