It’s expected that Apple will unveil the rest of their line up heading into the holiday buying season.  Unusual is this will be a Thursday (Apple has tended to make announcements on Tuesday’s).  The Town Hall auditorium on the Apple campus is a much smaller venue that they have tended to use for smaller announcements.

What’s expected are updated iPad’s (mini and Air) with Touch ID, the official release of OS X 10.10 Yosemite, and potentially, a high end 27″ Retina 5K display iMac.  What might also make sense is an updated Thunderbolt Retina display (it would be double the pixel resolution as the current 27″ model) which would be a perfect companion to the Mac Pro.   The current display model is long in the tooth now after being introduced in July 2011.

Apple may also refresh the Mac mini (last updated in October 2012),  iPod’s (both the shuffle and nano haven’t seen significant upgrades for awhile now; September 2010 for the shuffle and September 2012 for the nano).  The touch was refreshed in May 2013; it’s likely Apple will keep this at 4″ but continually upgrades its internals and exterior design (forgoing any refresh until next year).

An Apple TV update is also a possibility; it’s currently using a single core A5 processor with 512MB RAM and would be a perfect candidate for the A6 that is used in the iPhone 5c (without an actual Apple TV app store or push to 4k output, the A7/A8 would be overkill).
