Second 50501 Movement protest in the bag. Much larger turnout (peaking to well over a thousand later in the afternoon) in Honolulu compared to the February 5th protest as a result of the holiday. Protests also occurred on the other islands (Maui looks like it had several hundred in Wailuku).
A few other major locations like Sacramento, New York City and Washington DC saw the types of crowd sizes (several thousand) that are needed for impact (needs to get to a six-figure total across the country though). As noted before, protests are pretty much the last line of defense for citizens in defending the US Constitution (given how it is structured – the following gives a brief overview of what many American’s have forgotten).
Citizens defending it requires standing up to the government (its officers) via peaceful protests. This is why sheer numbers matter.
