This Past Week Has Been Nuts…

I’ve been so focused over the past week (free from a lot of distractions) that I managed to power through fixing a larger percentage of those malformed and old linkage posts on my game blog (was tempted to just unpublish all the earlier stuff because a lot of it was “passion turned to toxic drivel” (lot of it repetitive) of many hours wasted that I can never get back 😵‍💫. This is one of the things with this “stream of conscious” writing where I just go at it (and occasionally repeating that now). I didn’t re-read much of it; I just looked at the lengthy verbage and sort of yelled at the me of a decade ago to shut up and reminding myself now to put a lid on it 🤨.

To break up the monotony, I started fixing postings from the beginning (I was previously working from newest to oldest). I therefore now have the most dense parts remaining (lot of K-MMO related stuff which is somewhat relevant today given how the game industry is now fighting against that whole “stop killing games” movement in the EU plus the spillover effect it is having with gamers in general); September 2018-April 2019 is what is left to fix. (COMPLETED)

I’ve also been evaluating and testing various media presentation solutions, finally editing some videos from years (aka decade plus) ago, running them through ML enhancing (using both Aiarty Video Enhancer and Topaz Video AI), finally setting up an AAEmu (ArcheAge emulator) virtual machine, dealing with personal stuff, and basically going through a partial reset. I also re-watched the 1997 WWDC developer fireside chat + 1997 Macworld Expo keynote in a retrospective look back (these two moments definitely set me on a different trajectory).

Following is part of my testing (embedding from the test video gallery).

Am looking to finalize this (looking most likely to can the content management skeleton sitting on the main domain now and going this route). This has been the most personal productive I’ve been with long tabled stuff in a while.
