“However, the Safari browser contained functionality that then enabled
other Google advertising cookies to be set on the browser,” Google
spokesperson Chris Gaither told CNET.
So using this line of logic, if say Larry Page was signed into his bank account but forgot to logout, that any clown can come in afterwards and utilize whatever features are available within said account (like hmmm, let me use this transfer feature). It’s a stretch to go this far and to take advantage of an underlying hole in this manner. And people wonder why I have this love/hate affair with Google (with the latter percentage growing even larger).
